General Impression:

I am writing this review because I hope to help someone to save their time, money, and most importantly their health!
Dr. Stover may be the WORST doctor I have ever been to! Not only did he refuse to do some of the testing I requested! He misdiagnosed me AND I had REPEATEDLY asked him if I had what I thought I had to which he said NO.
On top of ALL that and his EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF, when my insurance would not cover my prescription, he personally told me that he was too BUSY to change the prescription AND that I should figure it out and let him know!
Since I'm not a doctor... I had to go to another OPTHAMOLOGIST!!!
His MISDIAGNOSES CAUSED ME AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF PAIN!!!!
I would NOT ever recommend this doctor to anyone!!!
AND I WOULD GIVE HIM ZERO STARS IF THAT OPTION WAS AVAILABLE!

  • Well, it may be because the edge of the lenses is not polished very well. If it is still in guarantee, you may return it for replacement. Or you can add anti-glare coating and it may reduce the amount of reflections.

  • Well, yes, heart problems can just lead to blurry vision. According to some experts, heart disease can predispose a person to strokes. In that way, it will just affect the eye by causing partial or full vision loss. Also, it can affect the brainstem, which controls eye movement via several cranial nerves. In some cases when the brainstem is involved, blurry vision and double vision can be possible. For blurry vision, it is the loss of sharpness of vision and the inability to see small details. And it can be very dangerous when you are driving. So just pay more attention to it.

  • Yes, eye care is always better than eye disease cure, since the eye is very delicate and essential for sighted individuals. Most people rely on their eyes in perceiving the outside world. The precious eyes usually need good care. A simple task is to have regular eye checkups from an eye care practitioner. Many eye problems such as macular degeneration can be detected during a regular examination. This article firstly states the importance of eye protection during daily life and secondly introduces the significance of taking beneficial nutrients for eye health.

  • By OTC reading glasses, we mean those ready-made ones that can suit general customers' visual need. It is a matter of "more or less", instead of "being exact", while prescription reading glasses exactly cater for your every visual need with precise prescription. It will do more good to your visual health, trust me!

  • Niether do I. I was prescribed glasses over 10 years ago and just now got my most recent prescription filled. I started getting headaches from straining, so I didn't have a choice. And I can't bare to stick anything on my eyeball. I hate glasses, I hate the way they look on me and anyone else. No one looks good with glasses, they make you look like a nerd, and I can't firgure out why anyone would want to look like some loser nerd.

  • The scar tissue in your eyes can be caused by infection or trama which leaves scar on the skin around your eyes. Or it can be caused by the surgery of removing eye hemangiom or eye hydatoncus. During the process of the skin agglutination, the mechanism of the collagen synthesis and metabolism lhas lost the normal control and stays in a state of hyperfunction, which leads to the hyperplasia of the collagenous fiber, thus the scar tissue comes out. It is not serious except that the scar tissue impact the facial appearance. You should do good sunscreen to prevent the scar tissue from getting irritated by the ultraviolet rays in the sunshine. And you should keep a healthy diet and eat moderate amount of high-protein foods. Besides, lavender essential oil and vitamin E can be helpful in reducing the scar tissue.

  • Indeed, big sunglasses are having its day. Of all these kind of glasses, the most typical and classical one is the Givenchy sunglasses that Audrey Hepburn wears in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's in 1961. Hepburn's appearance in the movie is permanently classical with her black dress, glamorous hairstyle and big sunglasses. From then on, in the next decades, big sunglasses keep staying at the peak of fashion. Several fashion brands release their similar big sunglasses in succession, for example, Wayfarers of Ray-ban. In recent years, the retro-style big sunglasses are quite hot especially in the celebrities. It is said that the wide less of sunglasses could cover half of face and make wearers cool. Thus, the big glass trend never stops and becomes worldwide.

  • So far, there is not a ton of research done into the phenomena because it not bother most of people. Besides, this is not an diseases or some vision problems. But there are some people believed the tiny moving dots when you close your eyes is result of a function of persistence-of-vision. It is said that the light travels at 186,000 miles per second, however, the reaction that occurs from eye to brain is slower. So, you can see tiny moving dots when close eyes.

  • You'd better not wear farsighted glasses all the time, otherwise you may rely on them then can't see anything clearly without them. You ought to learn how to improve your farsightedness. And if you wish to improve your farsightedness without the help of glasses, you can explore a few targeted exercises--but consult a doctor before trying any new eye routine. Relaxation and blinking are very important for eyesight improvement, certain exercises can also help to stretch your eyes.

  • Of course, you can. Having a mirror coating is a fashionable feature to add to your glasses lens. A benefit of having a mirror coating is that it helps reflect the glare of the sun and protects the eyes from the suns harmful UV rays. The mirror coating only work on standard sunglasses such as: gray, brown, and G-15 tints, polarized lenses. They will not work on transitions, drivewear or clear lenses. We offer the following mirror coating options; Silver, Blue, Gold and Red.I just love the color and I personally think a Silver mirror coating would look great in this style frame. There is no right or wrong mirror coating to have applied to your eyeglasses, it is whatever color you think looks the best and fits your stylish personality!
