  • Yes, you can buy contact lenses at walgreens. It seems not expensive to buy contact lenses there. And one of my friend has bought a box there. He said it is OK. And they offer various contact lenses such as Acuvue Lenses, Air Optix Lenses, CooperVision Lenses and CIBA Vision Lenses etc. You can choose it according to your needs.

  • It is not suggested to have lasik surgery .If you have dry eyes even before Lasik, you are at risk for a permanent and severe problem following lasik surgery. So it is better to cure your dry eyes first.

  • Maybe, it is possible to get puffy eyes because of some heart problems. Puffy eyes are a common symptom that affects both men and women. Usually, puffy eyes are not only cosmetic concern, but also a hot study item for medical evaluation. The most potentially and serious life-threatening conditions can cause eye swelling and bags, such as nephrotic syndrome, high blood pressure, and some autoimmune disorders. So if you get puffy problems, you can have a consultant to a doctor and take some note from him/her.

  • Of course you can, but I think you may only need them when you get older. Yeah, just like your father. And I strongly suggest you to get your dad bifocal contacts, which can be good for his eyes, for both distance vision and nearby vision. To be honest, you had better tell your father not to wear contacts. As your father is getting older and older, some of his eye functions also decrease with his age. If he wears contacts for a long time, it will be easy for him to get his eyes to be infected. Anyway, this totally depends on you.

  • Once Amare Stoudemire was poked in the eye in 2008 and his eyes got hurt and then he started wearing goggles for protection. At present, more and more famous basketball stars begin to wear goggles to protect their eyes. You know NBA is competitive, and players' eyes are at high risk. Goggles can offer them good eye protection.

  • Well, generally speaking, it can be normal to have painful eyes after you have taken the eye exam. In common, when you have an eye exam, it will make your eyes focus on the points for a long time. And then the light can go through your eyes to check it. In this way, it can lead to eye strain. And then lead to eye pressure. Finally, it will just cause eye pain sometime. Also, eye pressure can lead to some eye problems, such as itchy eyes.

  • Of course, it does. What is puffiness of eyes? It is excess edema in the soft tissues around eyes. It is common symptoms of allergy, infection, inflammation and physical irritation. Just as I introduced above, there are many causes for puffy eyes. If you got cat allergy around your eyes, then your puffy eyes probable are caused by the allergy. It is not serious problem. The puffiness can go off with the causes to it. Don't worry.

  • Just as you describe, I guess you have got acute conjunctivitis. The most important thing is to pay attention to personal hygiene. Wash your hand frequently and void to touch your eyes with your hand or other unclean towel. For treatment, you can flush your eyes with appropriate lotion such as physiological saline or 2% boric acid solution 2-3 times a day. Also, you can use drops or ointment such as ciprofloxacin, aureomycin and tetracycline. If your red eyes are leaded by hybrid virus infection, you can use some anti-virus medicine in support. You should insist on treatment for one more week even the symptoms disappear completely to prevent recurrence.
