Do some reading up on the pssliboe complications associated with the surgery, and you can pretty much figure it out. Although it's not a high percentage, some folks experience halos and double vision afterwards. It also increases the likelyhood you will need bifocals later on. Opthamologists make their living using their eyes, and they aren't likely to take any chances with messing them up. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a good option for other folks, but it could end their careers- so they stick with glasses. It's not much different than a singer with a deviated septum electing not to have the nose job because it will change how their voice sounds. For you or I, that's not a big deal. But when you make your living as an opera star- well, that's a different story. You aren't going to do anything you don't absolutely have to do, because it could mean an end to your career. Opthamologists take pretty much the same view of lasik surgery. Was this answer helpful?

  • It is true that rubbing eyes is one of the most common reasons for eye infections and problem. So it would be wise for you to prevent your bro from rubbing his eyes from time to time. I recommend you get some eye drops for him and take him to visit a doctor and find out what led to that. Also, vitamin pills and healthy diet are essential for him during childhood.

"Smoking:it is believed that smoking is the main cause of developing eye floaters. You are supposed to introduce hundreds of dangerous chemicals to your body when you are smoking, which will probably affect the circulation of blood in some parts of the body including the eyes, and make it easy to cause eye floaters." even my dog have more knowledge than you, smoking is not cause of floaters also circulation because vitreous dont consume oxygen, and chemicals from cigarettes dont pass there. ":Anxiety is another leading cause of eye floaters. Because a lot of stress might affect your blood pressure and then result in small vitreous detachments otherwise known as eye floaters. " moron the only how I can call you, again anxiety or high blood pressure, even very high such as yours became, will not cause this posterior vitreous detachment. YOu dont have blood in vitreous. ". The sleep lack may cause the floaters, because when you lack sleep, the eyes blood circulation will be slow, you will feel dry eyes or red eyes. When your eyes lack of blood, it will lack of oxygen supply as well as nourishing. Then your eyes will happen floaters, you would better take some vitamin A and relax to let your eyes recover, if the floater still exists, you may find a doctor for help." another moron, like I say blood flow have nothing to do with floaters. ". Typically speaking, eye floaters are derived from lack of sleep, excessive water taken, overuse of your eyes, etc. You said you went to bed late, and found yourself with eye floaters the following morning, so it is possible that your eye floaters are caused by lack of sleep and tiredness. "why only idiots answear here?. How excessive water taken cause floaters? purest stupidity, again overuse of your eyes dont cause floaters because vitreous only pass light nothing more.

  • Have lazy eyes can make you looks tired and lethargic. While, the most efficient method of make lazy eyes less noticeable should be makeup. You can try make the eyeliner on the top lashine slightly thinner than it is on the bigger eye. Or do not put eyeliner on the small one because it can make your lazy eyes more obvious. Hope the above method can help you.

  • Of course you can.Just show your prescription to the doctor and tell him you need prescription reading glasses. He will know what strength you need. There is a formula to calculate the reading RX based on your prescription.

  • I can suggest is getting contact lenses. That would allow you to see clearly and not have any lenses to be fogged up

  • The most that could come of that is a headache which no one likes so go get a pair that fit better if possible but don't stress about them being to tight its not a serious problem.

  • A person who has dry eye syndrome or the shape of their eye just doesn't allow for them to be able to wear contact lenses. or someone who is so nearsighted that there isn't a contact lens with a strong enough power to correct their vision and some others who are allergic to the disinfecting solution or contact lens.

  • I don't think eye exercises can really improve the eyesight. However, doing eye exercises can relieve the eye strain and strengthen the eye muscles. Our eyes may have enough time to rest through doing eye exercises. So doing eye exercises can keep our eyes healthy.

  • I am afraid that you can't join marines if you have really bad vision. In common, join army or marines and limits for vision. But if you have slight vision problems, you can get good vision by wearing prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. But if you have bad vision and even eyeglasses can't give you good vision, you are not allow to join marines.

  • If you have the following kind of circumstance, the laser eye surgery may be a poor choice. You have server nearsightedness, fair good vision, large pupils, you actively participate in contact sports, surgery could jeopardize your career and cost may be an issue. If you have these problems, you need to rethink of having laser eye surgery.
