  • In fact, the situation after the corneal transplant varies from person to person. But in general, people who get corneal transplant should better not smoke for one month at least after that. Because after the surgery, your eyes are not in stable condition and the irritating materials inner the weed may stimulate your eye nerves which may cause your eyes feel uncomfortable or even cause inflammation and some other eyes injuries. Accordingly, for the sake of your eyes' healthy, you are not supposed to smoke after surgery. In addition, It is recommended that you should keep TV or computer away, have enough sleep, eat some vegetables and fruits, and i believe you will restore to your sight soon.

  • It is very unlucky for you to get pink eyes after your giving birth to your baby. You should not hold the baby by yourself because the pink eyes are contagious and the baby's immune system is low. You need to treat the pink eyes carefully with eye drops or warm compress method and take care of the baby after you get the recovery.

  • Actually, the rimless glasses can hardly be repaired. So I kindly suggest you to have another pair.

  • I know it's an old post, but I hope this will be of help to someone!!

I have worn CRT lenses for nearly 10 years, and I can tell you the following:
    Pros:
-freedom from contacts/glasses during the day! Soooo nice!!
-Although at first having to put them in at night was such a nuisance, now it is like brushing my teeth.
-RGPs last such a long time (no need to replace them every year)

    Cons:
-the fitting does take a while to get right
    -price of fitting
-increased sensitivity: After a while, I started realizing that my eyes were more sensitive to strong substances (e.g., onions). They also feel very dry whenever I DON'T sleep with the lenses in (if I forget).
-unlike some people, I do have to sleep with them every night, or my visions not very good (even if I nap during the day, my vision clarity decreases.
-if ANYTHING gets in your eye as you're inserting the lenses, you will feel a lot of pain and have to take them out immediately. That's probably a given, but just so you know!

    history:
started off 2005 at -1.75, no astigmatism.
I was re-checked while abroad in 2012 (couldn't find a orthokeratology dr.) after not wearing them for 2 weeks, assessed to be at -3.00 with some astigmatism (can't remember, 1.5 maybe?).
Control: I have an identical twin, whose eyesight was .25 diopter better than mine before I started with Ortho-K, and now she's at -2.75 with minor astigmatism.

    Hope this helps!

  • Well, in daily life, blinking problem has just annoyed many people. And that can be kind of serious. For your situation, I have to say that it may be related with the nerve system of your eyes, when you are shooting. As we know that when you are shooting, you may feel kind of nervous. And because of that, of course, it will just affect your eyes, leading to frequent blinking. So to treat it, you need to have a deep breath first. And then just calm down. And in that way, maybe it can be helpful. Also, having some ice on your eyes can be effective too. By the way, you should know that blinking can be also caused by eye infection too.

  • Most allergic conditions are more irritating than dangerous. And I heard that allergic may result in scarring of the cornea and visual problems. Generally speaking, dizziness rarely occurs. The most common symptoms of allergic eyes are allergic to dust, cat and ointments. I think you feel dizzy when you get allergic in that the basic eye problems and the association eye problems with allergic you own naturally. Eh, that is, not allergic causes your dizziness, but your own eye disorders. For instance, eye strain and eye tired. The excessive using of your eyes is easy to cause dizziness. And sometimes allergic company fever, I think you may get dizziness also for your cold and fever. However, no matter what causes are, you must pay attention to your conditions and see a doctor to determine the truth. Plus, eye allergic can lead to death, exactly allergic. So have a thorough exam and receive a medical treatment.

  • It is usually harmless, but unsightly. A stye in eye is a small bump, appearing on the outside or inside of the eyelid. The longer a stye stay in your eyes, the more likely it is to turn into a chalazion. To prevent infected, you need to avoid making up or wearing contact lenses until the stye completely heals.

  • Well, it seems that you like niall horan very much, who is a very amazing young star. I think the type of sunglasses he likes to wear is called wayfarer sunglasses, which would make him more attractive and charming, cool, and macho. Anyway, since those sunglasses are very popular, you could get a pair of them at every large shopping center. Or just visit Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, etc.

  • The reason for why there is pus in the corner of your eye is that you are probably suffering from the blockage of tear duct. This problem is easy to deal with. You can soak a piece of soft cloth in hot or warm water, and then apply it over your eyes. At the same time, it is better for you to massage the eye corner with your fingertips. By pushing up on the corner, you can push the pus out. You should make sure that your fingers are clean in the whole process. If eye redness comes along with the pus, you should take this condition seriously because this means you have pink eye. However, pink eye can be easily cured if you get timely treatment. Antibiotic eye drops or ointment is effective in treating pink eye.
