In the London, optometrists can be found in the vicinity of a chain optical retail store, or in an independent optometrist's office. Optometrists are trained to address both vision refractive errors and eye health. Many optometrists sell high-end eyeglasses and contact lenses in their practices with the most professional possible services in addition to performing eye exams and writing prescriptions. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (MD) in the eye care and vision health who perform eye exams, write prescription for eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, diagnose and treat eye diseases and carry out eye surgery. Ophthalmologist's responsibility is much beyond that of optometrist.

  • Yes. You can choose any of the wraparound sunglasses frames you like but make sure that your power is not so strong otherwise your sunglasses lenses would be too thick/heavy/uncomfortable to wear. If you have strong power, it is not recommended to choose wraparound sunglasses. You can try tinted eyeglasses which enables you to use your original eyeglasses by only tinting the lenses to make a pair of sunglasses.

  • First contact wearer will always feel confused about this , but it can never become a challenge for an optist .You just need to take the prescription to your friendly neighborhood optometrist and let him deal with it . It is easy for him to make toric lenses for your left eye and regular lenses for your right eye.

  • You should just have the relax state when you put the contact lenses. When you are relaxed, you will put them in quickly. You just use your hands to make your eyes open bigger by touching the eyelids. Then you just use another hand to make the contact lenses in. It will be so easy. Your eyeballs should be focused in front of the direction. You could also do it before the mirror which will make it easier for you.

  • Well, it is true that some designer sunglasses brands choose to set up their factories in China or put it another way, sign production contract with many Chinese manufactures you know? So, I mean, Lacoste is no exception, since in this way, they are able to make larger profits, meanwhile, the quality could also be guaranteed which should not make you worry. Personally speaking, Lacoste is really fantastic , I find it worth buying.

  • In my opinion, you should take some break like every 30 miniutes to look away out of your computer.if this is doesn’t work, you should really go and visit some eye doctor to prevent from having eye problems in the future and get some advice from them.

  • It must be very painful to suffer fractured eye socket and it also affect your looks. So, it would be unwise for you to take a plane for the time being because taking a plane would give greater pressure to your eyes and your wounds, which leads to greater problems. Here my advice for you is to thoroughly examine your eyes and if the doctor says ok, you could take a plane.

  • Well, in my opinion, you'd better not have exercise when you have corneal ulcers. First, according to some researches, if the clear coating and cornea has been rubbed or irritated, a small tear or cut may occur in your eyes. In that way, corneal ulcers can occur. Because it can make your eyes infected easily, exercises should be avoided, or it can be dangerous for your eyes. What is serious is that sometimes, it may increase the risk of vision loss. To treat it, you can use a cold compress and Ibuprofen to prevent eye pain. Anyway, just be careful about it.

  • Well, it looks like you are going to take an eye exam for something. As you know, such exam requires that your eyes are physically relaxed and ok. So it would be wise for you not to get your eyes strained, and you should try to take the exam early in thr morning, for then your eyes are quite suitable for checkups. Thus, you should get there without wearing your contact lenses.

  • The hard coating is used to prevent your lenses from being scratched. If the lenses of your glasses are made by plastic, you'd better coat them with hard coating so that they will be scratch resistance. But if the lenses are made by glass, you don't need to coat them because glasses are scratch resistance.

  • If you have to stay in front of the compter all day and often feel an eye strain ,then it is necessary for you to wear computer glasses to prevent computer radiation .More and more office workers are being tortured by computer radiation at all times that their eyesight is getting worse and worse, alongside with eye dry, itch and fatigue. computer glasses not only have magic function of vision correction but more importantly, they are unique and superior in reducing the computer radiation while we are working at the computer
