Hi Roseann, for sunglasses frames, the default lenses index is 1.56. As sunglasses frames are usually in large size, upgrading to a higher index may not reduce much lenses thickness. If your prescription is strong, we suggest to choose a small acetate full frame. You can also choose a regular optical frame and then choose higher index lenses and tint/photochromic/polarized, which also work as sunglasses.

You have to continue with the order process until you reach the lens options where you can select from Tint, Mirror, Polarized and Photochromic.
