Moreover, there is a thin layer of anti-scratch coating on the lenses which can only prevent the lenses from slight scratching. We’d like to put thick coatings to ensure better anti-scratch function but it will have severe effects on vision acuity. Also,  the lifespan of eyeglasses not only depends on the quality of materials, but also the maintenance. You can check this link for maintenance tips.
