Answer

Hi Amber,

Thank you for reaching out—and no worries at all, we’ve got you. It sounds like today has been a lot, so let’s break this down simply and clearly.

If you’ve been diagnosed as nearsighted (myopia), that means you only need single‑vision distance lenses. These lenses correct your vision so you can see things clearly far away, and they’re the most common type of prescription glasses we offer.

To clarify:

  • Single‑vision lenses → for nearsighted or farsighted vision (this is what you’d need)

  • Bifocals / progressives → only for people who need both distance and reading correction

  • Reading glasses → for people who have trouble seeing things up close (usually farsighted or presbyopia)

You are not automatically getting bifocals or reading lenses unless you specifically select them when ordering. If you just want glasses to correct distance vision, single‑vision lenses are exactly right for you.

If you’d like, we can absolutely help double‑check what lens type was selected on your order and make sure everything matches your prescription. You don’t have to figure this out alone, we’re here to help and make this easy for you.

Question
would these work for a high nose bridge/bigger nose?
Diane on May 27 , 2023
Answer
Thanks for your inquiry, Diane. Based on glasses style, yes they will also work with high nose but please also consider the bridge distance of this frame to avoid the glasses from falling off. This has bridge distance of 19mm. We understand that choosing a perfect frame size online can be tough sometimes so we suggest that you could also check this link for frame size reference. Please don't worry, we offer an extended 60-day return&exchange in which unsatisfied glasses can be exchanged or refunded within 60 days of receiving. For any further questions or immediate assistance, you may also call our toll-free hotline at 1-855-487-6006 opens every day from 5am - 8pm PST. Question
My current glasses are 16 mm bridge, and they fit me. How much does bridge size affect the fit of a frame? Would the 19 mm be too big?
Kailah on Nov 24 , 2022
Answer
Hi Kailah, for bridge distance, usually 1-2mm difference is allowable. This frame maybe a bit wide for you. Any questions, feel free to Live Chat with us.

Question
I love these style glasses. Shape, color scheme, all of it.however 19 mm bridge is way to big. By chance do you have a simile style or exact style with a 17 mm or 18 mm bridge?
