When choosing prescription sports glasses for kids, you should consider the safety of the glasses first. Generally speaking, glasses frames should be made from these durable materials, like stainless steel and titanium are great for kids. And they are also thinner ,lighter and stronger materials, so the best prescription sports glasses for kids are titanium glasses or that made from stainless steel. Polycarbonate lenses are best for kids prescription sports glasses because they are impact resistant.

If your kids often play sports outdoors, then prescription glasses for sports should have UV protection. Photochromic lenses that are made of polycarbonate are a good choice for kids because these lenses are impact resistant and can turn dark outdoors to protect the eyes from harmful UV rays. Clip-on sunglasses also are good choices when choosing prescription glasses for sports for kids.
