It is better for you not wear eye makeup right after you take the surgery. More accurately, please do not use eye make-up for four weeks or until all redness has gone. Since the chemistry in your eye makeups will effect your cover and it is very irritant.

You'd better not wear the eye makeup after the vitrectomy because it may be harmful for your eyes. The eye makeup contains a lot of stimulating irritates which will let your eyes get infection. You should protect the eyes carefully through the diet and rest. You'd better eat more vegetables to add the vitamin C to keep your eyes moisture.

Well, you are not supposed to wear eye makeup in the first week after the surgery, or it will just make your situation more serious. As we know that after the surgery, your eyes will be sensitive and fragile. If you wear eye makeup which contains many chemical objects, it will just infect your eyes easily. And then in some degree, it will just make your eyes become red and itchy. So that can be dangerous. Anyway, just be careful about your eyes.
