Can I wear progressive glasses with high eye pressure?

I had an eye appt. recently and was precribed bifocals for the first time (in my 40's). I also have high eye pressures. The doctor was very specific in that I should not wear no lines. He said I would only be able to use straight line 28's. I forgot to ask, but why do you think I might not be able to wear no lines?

It depends on the prescription. If it is your first pair of bifocals, you should be able to wear a progressive with no trouble. See an ophthalmologist for a second opinion about the high eye pressure and ask them about progressives as well.
