Diabetes can lead to eye problems such as blurred vision, blindness and cataracts. I suggest you to have regular eye exams if you have diabetes for this can help avoid eye problems. And you may need to have your blood sugar checked too. High blood sugar can increase the risk of eye problems from diabetes.

Blurred vision caused by diabetes is just a temporary eye problem due to the high blood sugar levels. But if you control your blood sugar level, the symptom may disappear. So don't change a pair of new glasses at this time. And diabetes is also one of the leading causes of blindness in adults. Regular eye exams can help you avoid eye problems.
