karen walker had her eyeware range made cheaply in china. the same factories also made some for the black market using the same machinery and the same materials they used for karen's orders. consequently there are a lot of glasses available for about a 10th the price of what you would pay in a karen walker shop. this is the hidden price in manufacturing in china.
so, to answer your question, how do you tell the difference? there is no difference in the product. the only difference is how you get it, through an 'authorised' karen walker dealer or through a black market supply chain.

Once you wear the fake karen walke sunglasses, you will feel the discomfort at the unconscious psychology because the fake one will not be symmetric on two sides which will have the flaw on the detailed manual work. In addition, you can check the brand print to see whether it is smoothy.

To buy real karen walker sunglasses, you shall first choose a reliable eyeglasses shop. No matter you bought it in real shop or online shop, you can do a little research or look for some reviews about it. That helps to judge if the shop provide real brand designer sunglasses. Then,, when you choose it the sunglasses, you shall check if there is a logo on the sunglasses. If they have, the are almost real karen walker sunglasses. Good luck. Hope this help.

As you can see, Karen Walker is a New Zealand brand which mainly focuses on making various types of sunglasses and accessories, etc. They are quite renowned for their prime quality and wonderful design of products. However, lots of fake ones are on the market. So, there are always effective ways to identify authentic products. Ask for warranty and certificate of production before buying. Meantime, check the quality carefully or contact their customer service.
