First of all, do not use your eyes continuously for hours withour any rest. If you have to read to stare at the computer screen for many hours, then you should take a break every other hour to rest for half an hour, looking at distant objects or just close your eyes and massage your eyes. There are also some anti-fitigue eye drops which are available to you. Eat more vegetables and fruits to supplement nutrients to your eyes, and drink more water to promote metabolism in your eyes.

One of the reasons almost all eye "specialists" miss out is eye strain which is not really about eye muscles alone but about the deep facial (cheek/nose etc.) muscles. I've outlined solutions at eyestrain.sabhlokcity.com
