Will computer glasses help me when I'm reading a book?

I have just been prescribed prism glasses for using the computer because the words keep moving around. I haven't pick up the glasses yet but I was wondering if they will help with the same problem when I'm reading a book. I have a low prescription in them too but I'm not sure exactly what it is. I was wondering if different prisms would be prescribed for near or distant vision.

You should know that why computer glasses are called so . computer glasses are specially made for people to see the computer screen . The distance from our body to the computer and to the book is different . So if you use the computer glasses for reading books ,the focus will change which may affect your vision . you may need special reading glasses . if you don't want so many pairs , progressive glasses which are also called multifocal glasses will be good choice .
