Both myopia and hyperopia are vision problems. If a person with myopia, he can see things that are near, but he cannot clearly see things that are far, and what he needs is a pair of myopic glasses. As for a person with hyperopia, the condition is different, and he can see far but have difficult to see near. And he need a pair of farsighted glasses.

Yeah, you're right, people with myopia and hyperopia need eyeglasses if they want to see things clearly both far and near. Usually, people with hyperopia have near vision problems. While myopia is a vision problem which is developed if a person doesn't protect his eyes even though he is a child at the age of 3, even there are persons born to be myopic. What's more, people with myopia can not clearly see the things in distance, but the condition of people who have hyperopic are different.

Myopia, as it is medically termed, is a vision condition in which close objects are seen clearly, but objects farther away appear blurred. People with hyperopia can see distant objects very well, but have difficulty focusing on objects that are up close.
