Wearing fake eye lashes for long time may lead more air and dust to hit the eyes which causes them to dry out.Scientists found that 22 species of mammals from humans to giraffes have evolved eyelashes which were one third the width of the eye to protect from dust and moisture evaporation.Eyelashes from a barrier to control airflow and the rate of evaporation on the surface of the cornea. When eyelashes are shorter than the one-third ratio, they have only a slight effect on the flow. Their effect is more pronounced as they lengthen up until one-third. After that, they start funneling air and dust particles into the eye.

Yes, the fake eyelashes may look good on you but they are not the best thing for the health of your eyes. Because fake eyelashes can trap dirt and bacteria, creating irritation and infection, and they can be difficult to remove, fake eyelashes are not only an allergic reaction to your eyes and they can also cause permanent damage to your natural lashes. For those women who still want that extra something when it comes to their eyes, most recommend trying to accomplish the look using eye shadows and mascara to replace fake eyelashes, while these beauty products carry their own risks and should be changed out regularly to prevent bacterial contamination.they may pose less of a risk to eye health when used properly.
