Is it good to wear contacts when going on rides or slides?

Okay, so me and a couple of my friends were planning to go to Knott's Soak City ^^. I was just wondering if it would be a bad idea to wear contact lenses. I'm just going on slides and other rides, not really swimming in the water.

Yes ,it's obviously a better idea than wearing glasses.It can enable you to move more freely and won't have the trouble of dropping down .Contacts are always the best choice related to certain sports . But it is better to take an extra pair in case one of them falling out .

Well, I can see that you are going to have fun with your friends. So, as you can see, outdoor activities could require something in order to protect your eyes and vision. Since there would be sunshine, it would not be a good choice for you to rely on contacts, maybe in the mean time you should get frame glasses as an alternative. As to extreme sports, it would be ok. But it is not a good idea to wear contacts when you swim, you should wear goggles.
