The second stage is the early period when pyramidal cells are forming, and it can only distinguish luminosity, and then begin to differentiate into two pyramidal cells which can identify yellow and blue. If there is no differentiation, it may be total color weakness. In the third stage, yellow vertebral begin to differentiate into red vertebral and green vertebral, if there has not this stage or has error in differentiation, it will cause red blind and green blind.
