Yes, it would cause that. Magnesium plays an essential role in the functioning of cells, tissues and organs throughout people's body. It would cause muscles twitches in the eyelid if you do not intake enough magnesium, other factors, such as smoking, drinking alcohol could cause eye twitch as well. You also could experience symptoms such as fatigue, vomiting, nausea when you do not have adequate magnesium supplement. An eyelid twitch does not typically indicate a serious condition. It just notices that you should pay attention to your diet or lifestyle, which would disappear within a day. You can find rich magnesium from almonds, bananas, milk, lima beans.

Yes, a magnesium deficiency can cause your eyes to twitch. First, you should know that magnesium plays an important role in working on the cells, tissues and organs throughout your body. So if you do not have an adequate magnesium intake, you are likely to have an increased risk for a deficiency which ma lead to many symptoms. For your eyes, it can cause muscle spasms, and these spasms could occur in your eyelid, resulting in twitching. So it is essential to intake sufficient magnesium.

Yeah, the magnesium deficiency may cause your eyes to twitch. However, except the lack of some limited nutrients that cause the twitching eyes, there are maybe other reasons. For example, your eyes may get infection because of the incoming bacterium. Or the dryness may cause it. You’d better go to see the doctor and have a check on the eyes.
