Well, generally speaking, you can take the cataract surgery for it is safe to take cataract surgery. So you do not need to worry about the safety of it. First, you should know that a cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye, which can eventually block the central line of sight and impairs vision. So if there are some problems that occur on it, you should take surgery to heal it, such as the cataract surgery. Of course, Cataract surgery is an operation to remove the clouded lens and this will be very effective to your symptom. Also, it is very normal to have this operation in the United States. And according to some research, there are great numbers of Americans take the surgery each year. So it can be ok and safe. But, there are also many tips after you have taken the surgery, for after the surgery, your eyes will become sensitive and fragile. If you do not take care, it can make your eyes infected in the recovery period. For example, you should not watch TV or computer in the first week, and also should be careful when you have shower.

Every surgery is risky. From where I am standing, I think it is worth to have the surgery. Traditional cataract surgery is to cut eyes open and take out the sick crystalline lens. Then put in a manmade crystalline lens so that people can get clear eyesight again and the manmade crystalline lens can work lifelong. Nowadays, most traditionally cataract surgery is replaced by phacoemulsification technique. It has several advantages. It conduct surgery with small wound about 3mm. The wound is almost invisible after recovery. And recovery from surgery is also faster and better than traditional surgery. The surgery takes only about 15 to 30 minutes and patient can go home directly after surgery. The successful rate of surgery is around 80%. Get rid of the cases related with other eye disease, the successful rate is almost 100%. Therefore, it is highly safe and worth a try. After the surgery, you can have a nice eyesight and healthy eyes.

A cataract refers to the clouding of the normally clear lens that is situated behind the pupile of the eye.In my opinion, you 'd better accept your doctor's suggestion.Cataract surgery is a precision microsurgery. Thus the patient in the operation process won't have the feeling pain and the patient can relaxed mood to get treatment. After a short period resting in the clinic afterwards, you can go home and recover soon. Therefore, you don't need to worry about the risk of cataract surgery. As long as you do under the doctor's advice,it's ok!
