Can liver problems cause red eyes?

I heard that some liver problems can appear in their eyes. Can liver problems cause red eyes? If so, what liver problems can cause red eyes?

Because it has various functions as it produces blood proteins, control blood sugar levels, drugs and toxins from the blood and back up the immune system.
