Yes, eye strain can cause vertigo. Actually, vertigo can also be caused by fatigue or exhaustion. But you feel that your vertigo is caused by your eyes, then you may be suffering from eye strain. There is much pressure or strain behind your eyes and also it can cause tightness in the neck and eyes. To improve your condition, you need to take regular breaks for your eyes. For example, take a 10 minutes break when your eyes are tired from watching the computer screen.

Well, it is normal to have eye strain after you have been working hard for a long time. And also, it can lead to some eye diseases, such as the vertigo, which can be the Dizziness. But on the other hand, you should know that eye strain can also cause lightheadedness, nausea, blurred vision, double vision, even the dry, watery eyes. So for you, I will suggest you take a rest after the work. For example, you can just close your eyes, so that it can relax your eyes. Also, drinking some green tea is also good for your tired eyes. Anyway, just be careful about it.

Vertigo is usually caused by fatigue, a common cold, cervical spondylosis, anemia, arrhythmia, poor sleep, but straining your eye muscles can also lead to dizziness. According to what you have described, I think eyes strain and fatigue both have an effect on you, as a result, you feel vertigo. Under such circumstances, you need to have a good rest to relax yourself. You should take regular breaks from your work, for example, take a ten minute break after an hour of work.
