Yes, coffee can increase eye pressure and the level of your eye pressure increase relies on the amount of caffeine you consume, so if you are fond of drinking caffeinated coffee, I advise you to control the amount of caffeine you consume and you can replace it with tea. Everything has two sides, so does coffee. Coffee is rich in antioxidants, which help prevent oxidation. And coffee drinking can reduce the risk of developing Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, kidney stones, gallstones and liver cirrhosis. However, coffee can also do harm to the health. For example, drinking boiled coffee too frequently can rise the cholesterol level and coffee has a side effect on the blood vessels and blood pressure. Coffee also can cause heart rhythm disturbances and heartburn. Moreover, excessive coffee taken before sleeping can cause being awake all night. Therefore, you should control the amount of coffee taken.
