It is the home remedy of warm compress that make you look good at the eyes after the blepharoplastry. Using the warm compress, your eyes will feel comfortable and keep moisture at the state. Usually the cold compress will be suitable to the trauma and so on. You should keep on using the warm compress to protect your eyes.

Well, in my opinion, it is good to take warm compresses, for it can just make your recovery process faster. First, you can just take a piece of soft cloth, and just make it in the warm water. And then put the warm cloth under your eyes. As we know that after the eye surgery, it will take some time for your eyes to recover. By doing this, it will just improve the blood flow smoothly, and then your eyes will not be infected easily. Anyway, you can just have a try.

Blepharoplasty could be both functional and cosmetic surgery, by removing extra skin and tissue of eyelids to restore full vision or get a pair of bigger eyes. The incisions might be internal or external. The first two days, it might be very painful and uncomfortable. The eyelids would be so swelling that your vision might be impacted. Because the glands are located in eyelids, so eye dryness is a very common side effects after the surgery, which apparently impacts tear film production. You need apply some ointment on eyelids, which can moisturize the incision, and also lubricate eyes. As to compress, cold compress and warm compress have different functions. Besides of knowing its effects and mechanics, you also need to know the proper timing for different compress. Both the two methods can provide temporary relief from pain. But the cold compress strains muscle and skin, while warm compress increases blood flow and reduce stiffness. Because after this surgery, your eyelids are swelling and stiff, so I suggest you to apply warm compress which could minimize the stiffness and pain. In such situation, ice compress might cause your skin and muscles tighten, which is somewhat miserable now. Although warm compress could help, it is better not to use it for over 20 minutes.
