The stye in the eyes is also called blepharitis, is the acute inflammation of glandula sebacea or tarsus. Normally, the stye will not affect the vision if you treat the disease on time, nothing serious. Poor personal hygiene and weak healthy person will be easily to get such eyes disease. As for the way to get rid of, we could apply partial hot compress, when the fester runs out, the disease will be recovery. Please never squeeze the lump, or it will be dangerous to get irritation. If the symptom is serious, the surgery would be providing to treat the disease. The pus will be taken out with the surgery; it will be recovered within one month. If not such serious, some eyes drop and erythrocin eyes ointment will be enough to treat it.01/21/2013good (0 ) Report Abuse -

Frankly speaking, a stye wouldn't impact the vision or lead to blurred vision. A stye is also called a hordeolum, referring to clogged glands, the meibomian glands which are responsible for oil production. It is the acute infection near to the base of eyelashes. It usually appears red and a bump at the foot of eyelashes and usually caused by bacterial infection. It gives patients the burning, red and grittiness feelings, but it won't cause vision blurry. To treat a stye, it would require some antibiotics for bacterial infections. Meanwhile you can apply warm compress on eyes to help the bump rupture and pus drained. Don't try to squeeze it which could make infection worse. It won't impact your vision, but your appearance. And with a stye i feel it is difficult to open or rotate my eyes.01/27/2013good (0 ) Report Abuse -

It is possible to lead to blurry vision by eye stye. Eye stye can grow on the inside or outside of the lid. Symptoms are blurry vision, inflammation, eye pain and burning. Styes are commonly caused by the blocking of an oil gland at the base of the eyelash. Also, poor nutrition, sleep deprivation and rubbing of the eyes are all causes of eye stye. So the best thing you can do is to see an oculist and take some notes from him/her. And you should pay attention to your personal hygiene.03/04/2013good (0 ) Report Abuse
