Can eye strain cause blindness?

What's the bad effects of long term eye strain? Is it possible to cause blindness?

    If you get the eye strain and not treat it well, you will get blindness after long time with this symptom. The eyes visual nerves will be damaged badly because of the eye strain. You'd better use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You could also use the eyes drops to release the symptom.

    Eyes play a very important role to your life quality, with 80%'s information is absorbed by your organ of eyes, the windows of your heart. Long time eye use will cause vision problems such as myopia, glaucoma, cataract etc. Eyes fatigue will lead to the above eye diseases, but not so easy to cause blindness. However, if you have long term eye strain and get all the eyes disease in a serious degree, there are still chances for you to get blindness. Why not pay enough attention to the habits of eyes use?     Eye strain is rarely a serious condition. But it is still possible for people who continuously use eyes in expanded period time to get blindness. Symptoms of eye strain often are fatigue, pain in or around the eyes, blurred vision, headache and occasional double vision. Blindness can be caused by blurred vision and double vision. When you get strain eyes, put down your books or take off your computer or television. Drink some tea and close your eyes to have a rest. You even can ally some cucumber slice to fresh your eyes and reduce eye irritation.
