Long time exposure in the sun would cause great harms to your naked eyes. We know that cornea not only has the function of protecting your eyes from dirt and sand, but also the cornea shields more delicate parts of the eye from harmful UV light. Usually sunburned eyes occur when too many harmful UV rays hit your fragile cornea and it cannot immediately recover. When your eyes are sunburned, you can easily feel the differences of it. Sunburned eyes will cause blood shot, light sensitivity and it makes your eyes feel gritty. Besides, heavy sunburned eyes may also suffer blur vision problems, a fever, mild to moderate dehydration, eye infections, and even pain eyes. After you get sunburned eyes, you can try cold compress, aloe vera juice, green tea bag to help relieve your discomforts of sunburned eyes. Besides, you should drink more water to keep your body from dehydration. When you are going outside, you should wear a pair of good sunglasses to protect your eyes from sun burn. In all you should provide protection not to make your eye get sunburned.

If you are under the strong sun light for a long time, your eyes may get redness which shows the first small symptom. Then if you feel hurt at the eyes, you will find that your eyes get sunburned. You need to pay attention to it. After the sun exposure, you need to have the good rest for the eyes and use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable.
