There are many factors that can effect the cost of your eyeglasses when you buy it from lenscrafters. The cost for your eyeglasses depends on what type of eyeglasses you choose. So, it is difficult to give you an answer. Usually, a pair of plastic CR-39 no coatings Single Vision lenses would run around $80. If you want to add anti reflective coating, you need an $60. And if you need bifocal/multifocal lenses, the prices are different. Usually, it is about $120 for standard bifocals and around $200+ for standard progressive. Besides, you also need to choose frames. There are frames that sold at $150, there are also expensive that that required nearly $800. So, you may prepare hundreds of dollars to buy a pair of prescription eyeglasses there.

I bought a pair of Dolce & Gabbana glasses from LensCrafters (single vision, plastic lenses) for $227. I also decided to buy a pair of glasses at JCP and spent $190 on frames with polycarbonate lenses. I picked more expensive frames at both stores, but LC was having a 30% off frames sale and JCP was having a 60% off frames/lenses sale. I feel like Wal-Mart shouldn't be in the same price market as designer frames since their glasses aren't really THAT great. I find that overall, Lenscrafters is not that cheap. Even with their 30% discount, you can probably find better prices for similar frames elsewhere. The advantage that I find with Lenscrafters is that you can potentially get your glasses back in a short time, especially if you have a straight forward prescription, and they also have good customer service compared to many other places. The biggest downside of Lenscrafters is that I find them to be overpriced for what you are getting. Also, I find that getting the anti-reflective coatings can be very expensive at Lenscrafters, compared to the other discount places. While some people don't care for anti-reflective coatings, it has become a necessity for me, as I've gotten too used to them.

Well, the price of glasses at Lenscrafters depends on the frames, lenses, and brand. The price is varying. If you have strong lenses, the staff will recommend you high index lenses which are thinner and lighter, making your glasses look better. As for glasses frames, frames made of titanium are more expensive for they are bendable, flexible and light weighted. So it is hard to tell the specific price. Maybe you can check out Lenscrafters website and see how much they cost.

The average price of glasses at Lenscrafters ranges from $140 except the good brand ones. If you buy the glasses there, you will get the eyeglasses a few hours after you pay the money. And the quality there is good and the design is various. It is such a good place to buy the glasses.

As a matter of fact, lensecrafters is an eyewear retailer chain affiliated to the Italian group Luxottica, which mainly focuses on making fashion products, including glasses. Actually, they have got a wide range of glasses from which to choose. Generally speaking, a pair of their glasses will cost you about one hundred to two hundred dollars, won't be too costly.

Glasses cost will vary depending upon glasses material, features, and your particular prescription. You can go to the local LensCrafters store and let them know what your prescription is, and what kind of glasses you are looking for ,then they can accurately estimate the cost of your glasses. To find the store nearest you, use the Find a Store locator of their website or call their customer care representatives.
