Yes, milk does really help people with sore eyes. The scientists have found a protein in milk can help fight drug-resistant bacteria that cause eye infections. What's more, they also find that protein, lactoferrin in milk, could enhance the ability of antibiotics to kill the bacteria in human body which cause serious infections in eyes for instance. Milk is pretty moist and wild, so you can soak your eyes in milk if needed, but you need to clean the eyes in case the deposit may remain in your eyes. A better suggestion is using artificial tears. Because that's much professional. And you can drink milk in your daily life. Or eat more fruit with vitamin A and E, such as orange and banana.

Well, yes, milk can be helpful to sore eyes. Nowadays, milk is used in many ways, but we can also use it to protect our sore eyes. According to some experts, you can just put some milk on the soft cloth, and apply the cloth under your eyes. In that way, it will be effective. Also, an eye pack made from chilled cucumber slices may be very beneficial. Besides, you can put cotton balls dipped in rose water over the eyes for a few minutes. This is very effective in reducing inflammation as well as discomfort. Anyway, you can just have a try.
